I'm rethinking the light fixture. I think the one from my last note is not the right style. As much as I love it, I think I should save the thought for a different place with a different feel. I spent all morning playing with the floor tile layout and I think I've settled on this one (see above). This was my mom's idea from months ago as I think this is the pattern she has in her bathroom. Regardless of the pattern I do I'm going to have to cut several tiles so I might as well go with the pattern I like the most.
So, are you renting a tile circular saw cutter thing with running water... You know! The kind you'd see on a home improvement show. (That's where I get my information.)

ReplyDeleteI borrowed a wet circular tile cutter from a friend. It doesn't require running water but rather the blade sits in a pool of water so it stays wet as it goes around and around. I went to Lowes yesterday and bought a special file for smoothing out the rough edges on cut tile, a "drill bit" that cuts large holes in tile for pipes, and a bunch of other little things for this project.
